Zen Garden with Stones

For over 25 years, CJ dedicated herself to working alongside communities both locally and globally, aiming to empower them to take charge of their own initiatives.

Along this journey, she encountered numerous individuals grappling with trauma. While organizing effective community engagement is inherently challenging, it becomes even more so when key stakeholders are fatigued and worn out.

In response, CJ diligently sought ways to provide support to those she collaborates with. Her exploration led her to embrace Somatic Therapy tools. These tools, much like community-driven development, are centered on propelling individuals forward so they can actualize their fullest potential and lead fulfilling lives.

CJ finds deep fulfillment in solitude—whether walking through quiet forests or spending peaceful moments at home. These times of stillness allow her to reconnect with herself, fostering clarity, creativity, and inner calm. For CJ, solitude isn’t about retreating from others; it’s about grounding herself so she can be fully present in her relationships and offer genuine connection. Whether in conversation or community, she brings a mindful, open-hearted presence rooted in the time she takes to listen inward.
